The RCTC Campus is closed Friday, June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.

Today we wrapped up our 2026 Healthcare Explorers camp with a visit to RCTC's Dental Simulation Lab and Dental Hygiene Clinic where students practiced teeth cleaning, made dental impressions, learned about dental sealants, and practiced taking dental x-rays. A special thanks to all our RCTC faculty session leaders for their time and talents throughout this camp.

Students in RCTC's Healthcare Explorers Camp got right to it today learning how to take a pulse and respiration rate, wear proper protective equipment, giving injections, plus how to start an IV. This is going to be a packed week learning about several career paths in healthcare including nursing, surgical technology, paramedic/EMT, athletic training, dental assisting and dental hygiene, and veterinary technician.

The RCTC Veterinary Technology Program partnered with Olmsted County on Wednesday for a rabies clinic. Students and instructors offered rabies vaccinations and cared for some of our furry community members!

Today wrapped up another Aviation Camp with students getting to fly in the simulator, do a pre-flight airplane check, and tour the Mayo Clinic Ambulance Service fixed-wing air ambulance.
