If you’re tired of striving to meet the often varying and demanding expectations of others—even, maybe especially at church, we don’t blame you. We get exhausted, too. But we believe Jesus when he said, “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me … and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Here, at Greece Baptist, you will find a warm, safe, and sincere community of faith. You will find people of diverse lifestyles, ethnicity, and perspectives. Together, we celebrate in life’s joys
and extend comfort in times of fear or pain. We love to learn, enjoy good music, and eat good food. Here, as Greece Baptist, we are committed to:
• open-mindedness and honest theological reflection;
• deep connection with God, with ourselves, and with others;
• and bold action for the positive transformation of our city and the world beyond. Here, no one is expected to conform or fit into a mold of any kind. You don’t have to come to our service or like our hymns. You don’t even have to step foot in our building. We know that’s a tall ask for some. No matter who you are, no matter your circumstances, we are prepared to show up for
you just as we show up for each other. Because, here, we belong to each other. That’s what it means to be a community of faith. So, whenever you need us to be, we will be right here, at Greece Baptist—where together we can find rest for our souls.

Here's why we support the Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf & Clothing Closet, and you can do the same on October 4!

"We are a volunteer‑run organization dedicated to helping our neighbors in the Greece and Charlotte communities. All of the food and clothing we provide comes from generous community donations, corporate partners, and Foodlink.

With the support of more than 120 volunteers, we served over 6,000 people in our last fiscal year.

What makes us different is how we deliver care. We welcome clients who visit our location, but we also bring food directly to people who cannot travel because of limited transportation or physical disabilities. We believe everyone deserves access to support, no matter their situation.

We also offer a monthly program for seniors and individuals with permanent disabilities, ensuring they receive regular, reliable assistance.

Services are provided 52 weeks per year."
