Thank you to all our donors, supporters, and advocates for your support! Here is a special quote from one of our alumnus/advocates about how this year’s Day of Giving support can have a positive impact on our current students ❤️

“Some of my fondest memories from my time at are rooted in the traditions that make this university truly one of a kind. From the pageantry and warmth of the Boar’s Head Dinner…earning a seat at the head table is a moment I’ll never forget…to braving the Rochester cold while waiting in line for the Winterfest giveaway, and celebrating spring with everyone on Dandelion Day, these experiences shaped my journey at Rochester. Ending my time at school with some of closest friends during Senior Week remains one of my favorite memories.

Traditions like these are the heartbeat of the Rochester experience and supporting them as an alum is my way of making sure every student has the chance to create memories just as meaningful as mine.”

Did you hear? It’s Day of Giving! Your support of the Rochester Traditions campaign can make an impact, no matter the amount. We cannot continue to offer these programs in the same magical way we have in the past without your additional contributions. Here are a few ways your support can contribute to keeping the 18 Rochester Traditions magic 🪄

• Help us get the word out by sharing this post

• $50 covers the cost of 5 tables for the Activities Fair, which supports 10 student organizations

• $250 covers the cost of general support and resources for Community Weekend Volunteers

• $500 covers the cost of accessories for Spirit Week (foam fingers, noise makers, rally towels, etc.)

• $1,000 covers the cost of an outdoor movie screening during Yellowjacket Weekend

We want to be able to offer our students the quality experience they deserve and with your help we know we can achieve that goal! When
25 donors give to the Rochester Traditions fund, your positive impact will
be amplified by unlocking $11,000 from our Day of Giving Advocates, David S. Cole ‘90 and Jake Braniecki ‘18 in support of University Student Life.
