The largest student club at Simon Business School. We provide a platform for students to excel in th The Meliora Fund is an endowment fund managed by members.

The Simon Finance and Investment Club was founded to act as a one-stop resource platform for members to learn about careers in finance and investment-related fields. This organization provides a platform for students to gain an insight into the industry and receive guidance, with an overarching goal to prepare its members to secure summer and full-time roles. Through our Simon alumni network and the Career Management Center’s connections, the club seeks to foster and maintain strong relationships with corporations in order to provide members with as many opportunities to enter the finance-related fields as possible. The privileges of membership will include industry specific training, access to the Meliora Fund, inclusion in the resume book, mentorship, and access to networking events such as the Simon Finance & Investment Annual Conference in NYC. Other events may include pitch competitions, trading competitions, case competitions, mock interview preparation, firm-wide presentations, cocktail networking events, resume reviews, financial valuation and modeling workshops, and career fair preparations, among others. As of November 2016, the Fund has a total AUM of $400,000 invested in various sectors.

Welcome back to Simon! We are looking forward to an exciting Winter Term.

Here are some pictures from our first meeting this year, where we presented our positions in the Meliora Fund and awarded the top traders in our annual Trading Competition.

Congratulations to Bonseung Ku, who was able to generate an astounding return of 83%! Second and third spot was taken by Valentine Nsofor and Jiaxin Jiang.

We would also like to thank the Dean for stopping by to present the awards.
