So that tip, it’s not what you’d expect.
It’s not what to say it’s what NOT TO SAY.
Refrain from using the words, do not get out of bed.
You are may be literally planting the idea in their head. Instead tell them what to do.
☁️ Lay down in bed.
☁️ Put your head on your pillow.
☁️ Pull your blanket on.
☁️ Hug your stuffies
☁️ Wait for your green light.
Etc, etc.

Just a little reminder
AI isn’t a human.
It can summarize information.
It pulls from the internet and puts it all together, neatly.
But it doesn’t know you. Or your baby. It has no experience or feelings.
If you want real support you need a human, you need a friend, you need another mom. ❤️
If you are struggling with your little ones sleep and sick of the internet. I am happy to be your real life sleep friend.
Shoot me a message or schedule a free call. I’d love to connect!

It’s almost March! And I just realized daylight savings is around the corner.
I usually don’t do much for this time change, we kind of wing it and do different things every year for every kid.
But there are some options!

A swaddle is such a wonderful tool for your newborn.

Wondering about sleep over Thanksgiving?
Can I tell you the truth, holidays and baby sleep stressed me out and that’s on me. I am an overthinker (I blame motherhood for that new trait) and I am a planner.
But here is what I’ve learned after 6 years of holidays with baby sleep. You can tackle it a lot of different ways but remember ITS JUST ONE DAY.
Some options -
✨You can plan to travel during a nap
✨If multiple naps try to have at least one at home in the crib
✨ Plan to nap during the holiday party - get there a little early and set up the sleep space to look like home and follow the same routine
✨Bring a back up option, carrier, stroller, etc.
✨ Go late or leave early
Seriously whatever works for you and your baby. It’s just a day, it’s just one holiday over a life time of holidays you can work the holiday around sleep or sleep around the holiday. It’s up to you and your family!
