What looked like a regular lunch was actually a moment of real learning in action. 🍽️
Our 3rd–4th grade students put their MyPlate knowledge to the test—building balanced meals, making thoughtful food choices, and applying what they’ve learned about nutrition in a real-world setting.
From fruits and vegetables to proteins and grains, every tray told a story of growing awareness and healthy decision-making.

Yesterday on Yom Ha’zikaron, we paused and remembered. We came together to honor the memory of Israel’s fallen soldiers and victims of terror.
We were also fortunate to welcome Jonathan Dean’s mother, who came following a school project we completed in Jonathan’s memory. She visited each class and shared stories about Jonathan’s life. Students learned how he was always kind, always trying to help, and always the peacemaker. Through her words, they came to understand the many ways he lived as a helper and made a difference in the lives of others.

Our amazing shelichim, Elior and Reut Dahan, ran a special "Theodore Herzl" themed activity today in preparation for Yom HaAtzmaut at Keshet Preschool at Temple Beth El. It was a pleasure collaborating with a community partner to celebrate Israel's birthday!
