A tribute event entitled Nocturne: A Tribute to Michael Landrum is being held on October 24 at 2:00 at Pearce Church (Rochester, NY). We would like to include slides of Dr. Landrum. Would you be willing to share your best photographs, old and new? If so, please email up to five (5) scanned or digital photos by September 1 to Joseph Werner, Director of Piano Studies, at [email protected].

Pictures may

1. include others with Michael
2. be serious or humorous
3. be musical or non-musical

IMPORTANT: in your email, each picture should be clearly identified stating the date, location (if possible), and who is in the picture. Pictures will not be posted on social media.

We would be delighted if some of the pictures are of Dr. Landrum performing: speaking before playing, seated at the piano, bowing at the end, etc.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Michael Landrum. To many who knew him, he was a beloved teacher, esteemed colleague, and consummate musician. To all, he was a friend.

A memorial event entitled "Nocturne: A Tribute to Michael Landrum" will be hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University on Saturday, October 24 at 2:00 pm at Pearce Church in Rochester, NY. A reception will follow in the Shewan Recital Hall, Howard Stowe Roberts Cultural Life Center, on the adjoining campus of Roberts Wesleyan University. The tribute will be live-streamed for those who cannot attend.

Percussion Ensemble performs an exciting, one-of-a-kind concert on Monday!
