Nazareth alum Zoey Baird was recently awarded the Harriet S. Barnett Novice Teacher Award by the New York State Association for Language Teachers (NYSAFLT)! Congratulations Zoey, we are thrilled you've been recognized for your dedication and hard work! 💜💛

We are thrilled to announce that Ms. Zoey Baird, Spanish teacher at EIMS, has been awarded the Harriet S. Barnett Novice Teacher Award by the New York State Association for Language Teachers (NYSAFLT)! This prestigious honor is awarded to a NYSAFLT member with five or fewer years of teaching experience who exemplifies dedication to reaching all students, a strong commitment to professional growth, and alignment with NYSAFLT’s Strategic Goals.
What makes this even more special is that Ms. Baird is the very first recipient of this newly established statewide award. Her passion, growth, and excellence in language education are truly inspiring.
