At Odyssey Academy, continuous improvement starts with collaboration.

Today, our faculty, staff, and administrators came together during our School Improvement Team (SIT) meeting to plan intentionally for the upcoming school year. Together, we focused on strengthening the systems and instructional practices that will ensure every scholar has the support they need to succeed.

The conversations captured in these photos highlight teachers engaged in academic discourse—one of the core instructional strategies we will implement schoolwide to advance our academic achievement and literacy goals. When educators collaborate, challenge ideas, and learn from one another, our scholars benefit.

We are excited about the work ahead and committed to building a school where every scholar is known, supported, and empowered to achieve at high levels.

Yesterday during lunch our Community Schools Team asked scholars to fill out a quick survey letting us know what events they liked this year and what events they would want next year. SCHOLAR VOICE MATTERS! 💜🖤

And the fun continues at the Academy this week!! Today we hosted our 8th Grade Moving Up Day! We had a chorus performance, handed out certificates, watched a slideshow and special video, heard a speech from class representative MaLiah, awarded class superlatives, got some heartfelt advice from graduating seniors Silas and Brendan and took a class photo in front of the school! What a great day to be a Leopard! 💜🖤💜🖤
