Breaking the Bubble is a dialogue-based series created to open up honest conversations about the historical and structural forces shaping our communities today.

As these discussions often touch on identity, equity, and lived experiences, the voices of organizations that uplift and support minority communities are essential. Your perspectives help keep these conversations meaningful, grounded, and reflective of the diversity within our campus.

Urban Fellows s a ten-week paid summer program, open to undergraduate students in the Rochester area, that immerses students in the city learning the rich history and culture.

Students are placed in a paid fellowship in agencies located in the city of Rochester. Fellowship placements are in a variety of fields, including health care, education, economic development, and youth services.

The 2026 Urban Fellows Application deadline has been extended and is now due by Friday, March 13th! They are also having a Virtual Info Session Wednesday March 11th from 3-4pm to field any questions potential participants might have.
