✅ This new NSA Chapter is open to children ages 6-12 who stutter and their families. It will be a supportive, welcoming space for kids to meet others who stutter, share experiences, and build confidence together. Parents and family members are welcome to attend, connect with one another, and learn more about the NSA community.

🌟 Alumni Spotlight: Julia 🌟
Julia has taken her clinical experience and expertise beyond direct service delivery and into the world of product development, where she supports clients and families in accessing and implementing alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), including speech-generating devices.

Drawing on her background in clinical practice, Julia helps bridge the gap between technology and meaningful communication, empowering individuals and their support systems with tools that promote connection, participation, and self-expression.

We are proud to see alumni like Julia advancing communication access in innovative ways and demonstrating that careers in speech-language pathology can extend across clinical care, advocacy, education, and industry.

Colleagues at the University of Rochester are recruiting elementary-based SLPs working with students with autism who use speech generating devices (SGDs). This is a great opportunity to contribute to research that supports communication access and clinical practice in our community. Please consider participating or sharing with interested colleagues!

🎓💜💛🎉 Spotlight on another of our remarkable grads! Kayla is graduating with her master's in Speech-Language Pathology and will be recognized as the outstanding SLP graduate!

Kayla has excelled at the undergraduate and graduate levels both in and out of the classroom. While we celebrate her, she is celebrating Naz for providing space and support to pull all her passions together!

🎓🎉 Graduation ceremonies are just a few days away and we are here to celebrate Faith who is the student speaker for the undergraduate Bachelor of Science ceremony this Saturday!

Faith has prepared a celebratory speech that reflects on the importance of community, kindness and connections. Faith told us that, "community isn't a place you find or list of achievements, but a practice of being present and choosing to care deeply about the connections we build with those around us."
