TLI has come a long way from the forum room days! Who could ever forget four year old Aidan, dressed as Darth Vader, waving his light saber during our Year End Celebration?! My kids often call those, “The good old days.” TLI has definitely grown and changed over the years but our roots have always remained strong. Tomorrow we’ll celebrate those roots but also look towards new growth so that we can continue to bloom! Hope to see you there!

This morning I had the privilege of celebrating 5 of our TLI girls who were honored at the Alpha Alpha Annual Scholarship breakfast. Since 2002, when Drella Bella, was the first recipient, this organization has supported one of our TLI girls throughout their college experience, both financially as well as through mentoring. I am so thankful to these women for helping so many of our graduates launch their own careers in education. Definitely a proud teacher moment!

Today our TLI seniors participated in their CTE Exit Interviews…sharing their portfolios and all that they’ve learned in TLI with other educators. It was really heartwarming listening to our seniors share the lessons they’ve learned and the different experiences that have helped shape their ideas about education. Definitely a proud TLI moment!
