Our little ones are developing every day and we play a crucial role in helping them learn to communicate. Learn more about speech and language development milestones, when they may happen, what they may look like, and what parents can do to communicate with baby long before their first words. This session will explore the basics of sign language for babies and illustrate some simple and commonly used signs that can be immediately put to use.

Donna’s husband is Deaf and their son’s first language was American Sign Language. She launched Budding Signers while on maternity leave with her son, after seeing the benefits of teaching her little one sign language. Donna is fluent in American Sign Language, uses it in her own home daily, and is part of a group of enthusiastic signers – professional and native – who want to promote an inclusive learning environment for little humans and their families. 👏🏻👏🏼👏🏽👏🏾👏🏿

The past few weeks have been rough! But the extra time with my little man Calvin has meant more time signing with him daily! He is finally signing “mama” his isn’t perfect but he is doing a great job! I am so proud of him, just look at my face!
