🪄Fairy Tale Fun!
🐷We explored a mini unit based on student interest. We built houses out of straw, sticks, and bricks for the 3 Little Pigs and read about Cinderella. We also did some cleaning at the sensory table with lots of bubbles!

First, we want to shout out our incredible teachers and staff! Each day you encourage our young scholars to take risks and nurture their learning. DASA Preschool would not be what it is without you.🍎

We had a fabulous day investigating nature and exploring with our friends! 🌸🐞
This Volunteer Appreciation Week, we are celebrating all of the volunteers who have made the valuable contribution of their time to DASA Preschool.
We are so appreciative of all our volunteers! We host volunteers in school and there are many volunteers that support us through sharing their time at fundraisers, updating our website, organizing our library, and so much more. In just 2025 alone, our volunteers have logged over 400 hours of service to DASA Preschool. We are so grateful for all of your contributions! 💕

Over February Recess, preschoolers took part in Eric Carle Camp! Each day was based on a different Eric Carle book, from the well loved book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” 🐛 and the delightful “A House for a Hermit Crab” when we made our own crabs!🐚
We enjoyed making sensory bottles and moonscapes when we read “Papa, Please Get The Moon For Me.” 🌕 We read “The Tiny Seed” 🌱 and planted our own seeds and especially enjoyed making puffy paint clouds when we read “A Little Cloud.” ☁️
Special thanks to Penny for creating these experiences for our campers as she works towards her Girl Scout Gold Award! ⭐️

We kicked off February break with Eric Carle Camp!

🐛Today, we read “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” then created beaded caterpillars, painted butterflies that live in paper towel chrysalises, and finished the day wrapping ourselves up as a chrysalis so we could experience a metamorphosis!
🦋 Thank you to Penny for planning and carrying out this camp for her Girl Scout Gold Award Project. We can’t wait for “Papa, Please Get the Moon for Me” day tomorrow!
