This spring we were able to celebrate the life prep graduation of one of Casa Italiana’s student workers. Ashton Fantauzzo worked with Casa Italiana for a year and always came to work with a smile and a joke to make you laugh. While we will miss Ashton, we are all so excited about this new step in his life and we wish him well in all future endeavors!

Are you studying Italian and want more practice? Casa Italiana is hosting a weekly conversation table! Taking place on Thursdays from 5 till 6 pm in the Le Chase lounge. All levels of proficiency are welcome! Come visit and learn something new!

We would like to congratulate two of Casa Italiana’s talented students for receiving The VoluntarItaly scholarship. Makayla Oriel and Danny Belman were both selected to represent Nazareth University and Frank DiMino Casa Italiana, on a three week volunteer trip to Italy. They will both be working alongside camp counselors. During this time, Makayla and Danny will have the opportunity to hone their Italian skills as well as add valuable experience to future resumes. We wish them both well on this exciting trip and we hope they take this as an opportunity to make a difference in lives.
