Today, the Emergency Medical Training Center hosted some students for the 2024 Healthcare Explorers Camp.
Students learned entry-level skills needed by all EMS professionals to save a life. Many are interested in the Healthcare field but do not know which avenue they would like to pursue.
This week's camp allowed them to explore many fields including EMS, Public Safety, Nursing, Surgical Tech, Vet Tech, and many more....

This Scholarship will be available to all students pursuing EMR, EMT or Paramedic certification through RCTC, who are granted a scholarship through the ADAM FINSETH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP.

A new scholarship has been established to honor Adam Finseth, the firefighter paramedic who was killed in the line of duty in Burnsville on February 18, 2024. Adam Finseth grew up in Rochester, where he attended RCTC before deciding to pursue military service. He joined the Army serving two tours in Iraq. After his return, he married his wife Tara, in 2009 and was blessed with two children. After his military service, Adam he earned his Fire Science and Paramedic degrees and served as a firefighter and medic in various locations. Adam joined the Burnsville Fire Department in 2019 where he planned to finish out his career.
