This week, as we celebrate National Afterschool Appreciation Week, we want to shine a well-deserved spotlight on our AMAZING KidsCare Site Managers! 💙💚

Their dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to our students and families truly make a difference each and every day. They go above and beyond to create safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive outside of the school day.

From thoughtfully designing weekly lesson plans inspired by the children’s interests, to organizing enriching activities that spark creativity, teamwork, and confidence—our Site Managers do it all. Behind the scenes, they also work tirelessly to ensure that every program meets and exceeds OCFS regulations, maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.

Their leadership, compassion, and attention to detail help build strong connections with students, families, and staff, making our KidsCare programs feel like a true community.

Today and every day, we thank our KidsCare Site Managers for the incredible impact they have on our students’ lives. 💙

Every young person deserves high-quality afterschool and out-of-school time (OST) experiences that support their growth, spark curiosity, and help them thrive. And behind every great program is a dedicated afterschool professional — a mentor, educator, and champion for young people.

This Afterschool Professionals Appreciation Week (April 20–24, 2026), we’re shining a light on our KidsCare afterschool professionals who make a profound difference every day! 💙💚
