Strong penmanship begins here, but so does deep concentration.

One of the most important questions we've gotten is: How is the Christian faith woven into our school day?

Not only are our subjects taught from a Christ-centered view, we seek God first every morning. We begin every day with praise and worship, prayer and bible reading before any subject is taught.

Students choose the songs and they decide what we should pray about for the day.

We have fruit of the spirit "call-outs" by our students to one another, where they recognize another student for exempliyfing one of the fruit of the Spirit. Every Monday, we have chapel and quarterly we have chapel with our family and friends.

At The Daniel Christian Academy, our primary aim is to raise leaders who are rooted in Christ. We partner with parents to build a firm foundation in the lives of our students.

If this is missing from your child’s education, give us a call. This might be the very thing you're looking for.

I just love the wonder and excitement from the kids during science experiments. We are continuing our volcano unit study. In the last video we made clay for our volcano, now we are testing which acid will react best with baking soda to give us a dramatic eruption. Will it be orange juice, lime juice or vinegar?

This is project based learning in action at The Daniel Christian Academy.

🔊Sound on to hear my helper

This activity may look simple… but a lot of learning is happening here.

Students are reading a recipe, measuring ingredients, and following step-by-step directions. Not to mention building fine motor skills.

Hands-on projects like this help students understand concepts in deeper levels.

And this playdough is just the first step in our volcano study. Stay tuned for parts 2 and 3.

Did you notice my helper on the recording?

Math isn't something we just memorize. We build understanding brick by brick. We use concrete materials so students can visualize and feel the difference between ones, tens, hundreds and thousands. Then the idea of "borrowing a ten" doesn't seem so abstract.

🔊Sound on! Our learners had a field trip to Oxbow Zoo a few weeks ago. Oxbow Zoo mostly houses animals that would not be safe put in the wild. The coyotes, wolves and mountain lions were really loud during our visit. When there was a moment of silence, the kids clapped as if it was a musical. It felt funny, scary and sad all at the same time.

Memorable Moments at TDCA.

Our students took a trip to the local post office to mail Christmas cards to their family. Thank you to all our postal workers who work efficiently to serve us all.

This never gets old.

100 Days of learning. 100 days of Joy.

Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
