The Anthropology program at Nazareth takes an interdisciplinary approach with core courses in religious studies, sociology, and research methodology. It provides students with the conceptual and methodological tools needed to study anthropology from multiple perspectives, such as religion and ritual, social justice, feminism, terrorism, and war. Seniors are required to take a senior seminar, and service learning is a component of our Refugee Resettlement and Adaptation course. Students also enjoy study abroad such as trips to Kenya to study the people and cultures of Africa. The interdisciplinary Social Science Major integrates five academic disciplines -- Anthropology, Economics, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology.
