We offer lessons in violin, viola, beginning cello, beginning bass, beginning piano and drumming. We hold the following core beliefs:

What do finger puppets, a plate balanced on your head, and a violin have in common? 🎻

Around here, sometimes quite a lot.

In our Kickstart class, beginning violinists learn through a rote-to-note approach. Before we ask young students to decode everything they see on a page, we give them time to experience the instrument first—to listen, imitate, move, play, and discover what it feels like to make music.

As those skills become comfortable, we gradually connect what they already know to written notation.

The result? Instead of trying to learn everything at once, students get to build on success. They can feel capable at their instrument early on, and that confidence gives them a strong foundation for everything that comes next.

And sometimes, apparently, it also involves excellent balance. 😉

🎹 Piano Collective — Now Offering a New Daytime Session This Fall!

We’re excited to share a new daytime option for our well-loved Piano Collective class, which has been inspiring young musicians for the past three years.

Piano Collective blends the personalized attention of private lessons with the energy and connection of making music together. It’s a unique learning experience where students grow as both independent pianists and collaborative musicians.

Designed for students ages 7+, from beginner through intermediate levels, Piano Collective includes individualized one-on-one instruction, collaborative ensemble playing, and engaging music games—all within a small class of just four students. It’s an environment where students build confidence, develop musicianship, and experience the joy of learning alongside their peers.

Young children learn best when they're actively engaged. That's why our Piano Explorers classes are filled with movement, games, singing, ear training, and hands-on piano activities that help children build confidence while developing real musical skills.
