During a recent small group investigation, students explored how sunlight creates shadows and discovered how the position of the sun affects a shadow’s size, shape, and direction. Using flashlights and various objects, they tested their ideas, made observations, and compared results as they worked through this hands-on science experience.

Activities like these encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and scientific thinking while helping children make meaningful connections to the world around them.

🌸 Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible moms and mother figures in our Caring And Sharing community! 🌸

Throughout the week, our classrooms were filled with love, laughter, and special celebrations honoring the amazing women who nurture, guide, and support our scholars each day. From Mommy & Me activities and sweet treats to special classroom visits and homemade blueberry muffins baked with love, our students were so excited to celebrate their moms in meaningful ways. 💕🫐

These moments reminded us how important family engagement and togetherness are in creating strong learning communities. Thank you to all of our families for celebrating with us and for the love you pour into your children every single day.
