Our group had the opportunity to see real‑world welding applications in action, learn about current industry needs, and have meaningful conversations about workforce trends and training.

These partnerships are essential to keeping our welding program aligned with industry standards and ensuring our students are career‑ready on day one. We appreciate the time, expertise, and insight shared by the Briese Iron team—and the continued collaboration that supports student success.

The Block Kids Building Program is a national building competition designed for students in 3rd–5th grade, giving young minds an exciting introduction to construction and building careers!
Participants are challenged to design and build something construction-related, using approved materials and their own creativity—no adult help or guidance allowed. It’s all about problem-solving, imagination, and hands-on learning!
