Happy St. Patrick's Day! We just wanted to announce the arrival of our 2nd daughter, Madeline Estelle, who was born 2 weeks ago today. She's a healthy, happy baby that weighed in at 7 lbs, 2 oz and measured in at 20 inches long. Its sometimes hard to believe how far we've come since a year ago this month when we were dealing with the fallout from the fire damage to our Rochester studio. Back then, we cancelled the Spring term with the intention of starting classes back up in Sept 2013. But, by June, after much soul searching, we decided that it was in the best interests of our family to close the business. It is easy to sometimes feel sentimental about this final outcome, but we know we had a good run for five years and are proud of the impact the school had on the lives of over 400 families and 500 students that passed through its doors.

Although the future is never certain, this is likely the final "status" update we'll make on this page as we have no intention to reopen the school. But we will keep this page live as a historical record of our organization. As such, if we get any material that we feel is worth posting for archival purposes, we will upload it in the appropriate spot in the timeline. We hope you'll take a moment today and reminisce with us through old photos, videos, and memories of our school. Thank you so much for all of the love and support over the years! God bless.

The highlight (and final show) of our St. Patrick's Day season - the Echoes of Ireland Fundraiser. It was organized in the honor and memory of Tim Tigue (a dear dance dad and friend who passed away in the Fall of 2012) to raise funds for both our school and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The tickets sold out and we ended up raising $1000 for each organization. Big thank you to Matt Kelty Photography for the excellent photos!

In two hours, doors open to our inaugural Echoes of Ireland fundraiser at Kings Court Castle Restaurant & Banquet Center. Nearly 300 tickets were sold to this event. Finvarra's Wren will be playing music all night! Plus, we will have performances from the Motor City Irish Dance Company! The silent auction has over 40 prizes, and we have a HUGE space for Ceili dancing all night long! Thanks so much to our amazing Fundraiser Committee (you know who you are) for their hard work since January in since January in planning, organizing, and executing this event - couldn't have done it without you. Now let's get ready to party!!!

We are thrilled to announce that our 'Echoes of Ireland' Fundraiser, is now completely SOLD OUT!!!!! :) There will be NO ticket sales at the door on the night of the event. Thank you everyone for your support, we look forward to a really fun event this Friday. Make sure you have your dancing feet on ;)

Since we are only hours out of St Pat's Day, both teachers and students are still recovering from the dance marathon. But we wanted to make sure classes keep going and the students don't miss a beat. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Big thank you to the Motor City Irish Dance Company for all the wonderful performances during St. Patrick's week. Hundreds of people at various venues got a chance to see our girls tread the boards in style! Also sending an extra big thank you to the company parents for all of their support this week.
