📚 Math Fact Thursday! ✏️

Ever wondered how your school timetable actually comes together? It’s a math problem in disguise. 🤯

Schools use combinatorics and optimisation to work out thousands of possible combinations of teachers, classrooms, subjects, periods, and student schedules, all while avoiding clashes. 🧩🕒

For example, one teacher can’t be in two classrooms at once, and a student shouldn’t have Maths and Science scheduled for the same period. Every placement affects another. 🔢🧠

So that timetable on the wall? There’s a lot of mathematics behind it.

📱 What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?

For many of us, it’s checking our phones.

Social media. Emails. News. Notifications.

Before we know it, we’ve started the day responding to everyone else’s priorities instead of our own.

What if you flipped the script?

🌅 Protect the first 30–60 minutes of your morning.
🎯 Identify your most important goal.
🧠 Make meaningful progress before the distractions begin.

For a student, that could mean studying, reviewing a difficult concept, or working toward an academic goal before opening social media.

The challenge for tomorrow morning:

Create before you react.

You may be surprised by how differently the rest of your day feels.

A beautiful sunset may look effortless, but mathematics helps predict exactly when and where it will happen! 🧮

Using geometry, Earth’s rotation, latitude, longitude, and Earth’s position around the Sun, we can calculate sunset times for specific locations. 🌍

So even a summer sunset has a little math behind it!

𝙃𝙚𝙮 𝘽𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙮! 🐶👋🏻

Buddy in a nutshell: follows us everywhere, steals our spot, thinks he owns the house… and honestly, he probably does. 😂🐶

He’s been part of so many of our everyday moments that it’s hard to remember life without him. He’s loyal, goofy, protective, and always ready to be right in the middle of whatever we’re doing.

And with Mia & Elijah, he’s got two little best friends who absolutely adore him. Watching those three grow together has given us some of our favorite memories.

He may be a little crazy, but he’s our kind of crazy. Wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐾❤️
