What are the reasons that you chose Primrose?
I chose Primrose because of its balanced approach to learning and the extremely welcoming and supportive atmosphere! I think it’s so important for children to grow academically while also developing social skills and confidence. I love that Primrose makes learning fun and gives children the chance to explore the world around them through creative activities!

Do you feel that Primrose challenges your students academically and socially?
I definitely feel that Primrose challenges the students in my class in both ways! I love seeing the children in my class try something new and it is an amazing feeling when they realize what they are capable of. Whether they are learning a new skill or figuring out how to a good friend to one another, those moments make a big difference.

What would you say about Primrose to families in the community?
I would tell families that Primrose is a place where children can come to school every day and feel loved and excited to learn by their peers and teachers! The balanced learning curriculum creates opportunities for children to grow in so many ways while still embracing all the little moments to celebrate growth in their childhood. It’s a wonderful feeling to help children build a strong foundation for their future!

Here is a little about me!
I’ve been working with children since I was a teenager, and I love that every experience is different because every child has something unique about them. Outside of the classroom I have a six-month-old puppy named Maverick that I love spending my time with! I enjoy adventuring in northern Michigan through hikes and sightseeing whenever I have free time. I also love baking and making all sorts of yummy treats!

Our little geologists had so much fun celebrating GeoDiversity Day by creating their very own pet rocks! Each child got to use their creativity to turn an ordinary rock into a special little friend.

Some of our pet rocks went home with their new families, while others decided to stay at school and become part of our very own rock garden around the flagpole! 🇺🇸

We love watching our children explore nature, get creative, and discover that even something as simple as a rock can become something special!
