We love ❤️ nothing more than to watch our littlest friends join our program when they are infants, before they are even rolling over. We adore welcoming brand new parents into our community and helping them to find their tribe. Our Gymboree teachers get to meet your babies before they become mobile, slowly discovering how their bodies can move. We especially enjoy teaching adults how to bond with their babies through sensory activities and how to enhance every experience with them to the fullest. Then what seems like overnight, they begin crawling and then walking…and then running and exploring to figure out how the world works.
They’ve been busy listening and building social skills, confidence, and not to mention gross and fine motor skills-all the while they just thought they were playing!
Finally it’s time for preschool preparation and independent drop off classes at Gymboree, but by now, this part is a breeze!
The process is rewarding and exciting, and oh so much fun!

But then it happens. ⏰

All the celebrations, and cheerleading, and singing, and chanting, and encouragement, and bubbles in the air fade. And before we know it, our little ones aren’t so little anymore. We have all done such a wonderful job guiding them through the world of learning through play how only Gymboree can orchestrate, they are ready to move on.
We understand but we don’t have to like it. 😢

This is the true meaning of bittersweet.
