We are excited to welcome students back to school in just a few short weeks! As ESY winds down, our Rochelle Park and Mahwah students came together to celebrate an amazing summer with a visit from a video game truck 🎮 and an ice cream truck 🍦 - the perfect way to wrap up a season of learning, laughter, and fun!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this summer such a success. We wish all of our students, families, and staff a happy, healthy, safe, and relaxing rest of the summer. We can’t wait to see you in September!

🧀🌮 Nacho Average Day at Sage Rochelle Park! 🌮🧀 Our ESY students made more tasty treats!

Fun fact: Did you know nachos were invented in 1943 by Ignacio “Nacho” Anaya in Mexico? When a group of hungry guests arrived after the kitchen had closed, he created a simple snack using tortilla chips, melted cheese, and jalapeños. His quick creation became known as “Nacho’s Special” - and more than 80 years later, it’s still one of the world’s favorite snacks!

🥕🌼 From garden to harvest! 🌼🥕

Our Sage Mahwah Sensory Garden has reached an exciting new milestone - we’re now picking some of the vegetables we’ve worked so hard to grow! 🍅🥒

Surrounded by beautiful blooms, our students harvested fresh vegetables straight from the garden and learned how to pickle them! From planting and tending the garden to harvesting and preserving their homegrown produce, this hands-on experience brought learning to life while celebrating the rewards of patience, teamwork, and hard work. We can’t wait to see what our garden has in store next! 💚🌱

☀️ Summer fun with a twist! 🥨 Last week, our Rochelle Park ESY students had a blast making jumbo soft pretzels from scratch! They mixed, twisted, baked, and enjoyed every bite while building confidence and having fun together. It was a great day of hands-on learning, creativity, and delicious results! 💙
