UChicago is launching an initiative that will guarantee free tuition for families with incomes below $250,000, starting in fall 2027. The College will provide free housing and meals and waive fees for families with incomes less than $125,000.

Starting in Autumn 2027, initiative covers tuition, fees, housing and meals for families with incomes below $125,000, dramatically increasing access to a transformative UChicago education

Yale Offers Free Tuition to Families With Incomes Under $200,000

Other costs would also be waived for students whose families earn less than $100,000.

Yale joins other elite schools offering more generous financial aid, including Penn, Harvard and M.I.T.
