Today after Mass the children gathered around Father John, asking him questions. It immediately brought to mind Jesus' words: “Let the little children come to me.”

On this Holy Trinity Sunday, the Heart of our Faith, it was a beautiful reminder that faith begins with wonder, trust, and a desire to know God. The joy and curiosity of these children were a blessing to witness.

Today we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, as we do each year on the Sunday after Pentecost. We ponder the revelation of Jesus about Our Holy God, One God in Three; Father, Son and Holy Spirit; Three Persons in one God; Undivided Unity. These are all expressions the Church uses to describe this wonderful Mystery.
