🚨 WORD IS GETTING OUT! 🚨

Yesterday’s meeting absolutely floored us with the number of guests who joined us! 🙌

Between in-person and online, we had around **18 people** in the meeting—and many of our guests found us through the base marquee and a base-wide email.

That’s a pretty good sign that the word is spreading! 📣

❤️ **Theme:** The Heart of a Woman
🕊️ **Word of the Day:** *Irenic* — tending to promote peace, reconciliation, or agreement.

We also had some great speaking and competition practice:

🎤 **TM Hope** showcased her Humorous Speech, *“When I Met Him,”* as she prepares for the upcoming Area Contest. **TM Carrol** provided the evaluation.

🏆 And our Table Topics competition was strong! **Guest Crystal** came out on top as our **Best Table Topics Speaker**!

A room full of members, guests, laughter, learning, and people willing to step up and speak.

That’s what Toastmasters is all about.

And apparently… **people are starting to notice.** 👀

Way to go TM Chequitha!
She came out ahead during our Club Table Topics Contest and will go on to represent us at the Area contest next month.

Both contestants gave great examples of a piece of advice they would give to their younger selves and why.

TM Chequitha and TM Hope will be showing us their impromptu speaking skills in our Club Table Topics Contest.

Two will give great responses, but only one can go on to represent Procurement Club at the Area level.

Mad Props to TM Hope for coming out ahead at our Humorous Speech Contest Last Week! She'll go on to represent Procurement Club at the Area Contest in a few weeks.

🎤 TM Elnora plans to make us laugh as she reflects on 25 years of marriage.
🛣️ TM Anthony will challenge us to consider whether the road we're on is really the best one.
👂 TM Hope will put her active listening skills to work as she leads our Table Topics session.

Come Blast Off with us on Thursday, 16 July as we have our second monthly meeting. Our theme is Apollo 11: Who is a Hero? We meet in B799 at Robins AFB from 12pm to 1pm.

We have a meeting on Thursday, 16 July. We will meet online via Zoom and in person at Building 799, Room 103, on Robins AFB. In light of the anniversary of man's first steps on the moon, our theme will be "Apollo 11: Who is a Hero?"

We currently have 1 speaker and some added Table Topics time. If you have a burning speech that you are prepared to give, feel free to let me know, and we'll see if we can get you on the agenda.
