Introducing our 2026-2027 Junior Ambassadors. This program has been a great addition to our organization the last few years. Our board is able to mentor and teach the importance of giving back to our community.

When it comes to supporting education in Central Baldwin County, the real impact often happens quietly through dedicated people working behind the scenes to make a difference for our schools.

Steven Grant spent time with teachers at Robertsdale High School today sharing information about the Central Baldwin Education Foundation and the ways the foundation works to support our local educators and students.

Teachers learned more about teacher grant opportunities available through the foundation. These grants help educators bring innovative ideas, resources, and experiences into their classrooms.

Steven also shared information about two upcoming community events that help support the foundation’s mission:

The Honey Bee Festival is a community event held in November designed to bring people together while helping raise funds to invest back into education.

The Joe Driver Memorial Crawdown honors the memory of Joe Driver while bringing our community together for a great cause.

The Central Baldwin Education Foundation is about more than fundraising. It is about investing directly in our teachers, our students, and the future of Central Baldwin County.

When our community supports these events, sponsors a program, or simply spreads the word, those dollars and efforts can make a real difference in our schools.

Education is a community effort, and Central Baldwin is fortunate to have people willing to invest in the people who are shaping our future.

On Monday, we had the privilege of hosting our annual Principal Breakfast, bringing together the incredible principals from across our feeder pattern as we prepare for another exciting school year.

A heartfelt thank you to Sugarlove at The Hub for providing a wonderful breakfast and warm hospitality. Your generosity helped make the morning extra special.

We are also grateful to our community leaders and our CBEF Board members for your continued support of our schools and our mission. Strong schools are built through strong partnerships, and we are thankful for everyone who invests into the success of our students, educators, and community.

Thank you to our CBEF Junior Ambassadors and CBEF Board of Directors for a productive and inspiring retreat this afternoon!

We spent time planning, collaborating, and setting goals for the year ahead, and we could not be more excited about what is in store for the 2026-2027 academic year. The leadership and commitment shown by this group is truly remarkable.

We are looking forward to working together to make a positive impact in our schools and community while supporting educational excellence across Central Baldwin.

This week, two outstanding CBEF Ambassadors had the opportunity to attend Alabama Girls State at the University of Alabama, one of the nation’s premier leadership and citizenship programs.

Girls State brings together some of Alabama’s brightest young women for an immersive week of government, public service, leadership development, and civic engagement. Delegates campaign, run elections, hold office, and learn firsthand how local and state government works.

We are proud to congratulate:

Lynley Kate Christensen, elected Mayor of Redstone

Adalyn Lyles, elected to the State Board of Education

These leadership positions are a reflection of their hard work, character, and commitment to serving others. We have no doubt they will continue to make a positive impact in their schools, our communities, and beyond.
