Our little bestie Athena came to hang out with us today. She was so excited for her first flight with Jack Jack! She can't wait to fly again (she is 5). She had fun taxing the airplane, driving Melissa's car, having snacks and getting to go up up. This is how it all begins. Thank you Athena for having the best day ever with us!

Not only is it aviation day, but, our very own dispatcher, Gianluca became a private pilot today! Congratulations Gianluca, we are so very proud of you. Gianluca has been a regular here at N87 since a very young age, flying with his dad, exploring the airport, watching flights, hanging out, checking out the field, wandering as young kids do. Gianluca has been working at Air-Mods Flight Academy over his summer breaks for several years and we are so excited to watch his aviation journey flourish! What an amazing accomplishment as you enter your senior year of high school. Please take a minute to congratulate his achievement.
