Not only is it aviation day, but, our very own dispatcher, Gianluca became a private pilot today! Congratulations Gianluca, we are so very proud of you. Gianluca has been a regular here at N87 since a very young age, flying with his dad, exploring the airport, watching flights, hanging out, checking out the field, wandering as young kids do. Gianluca has been working at Air-Mods Flight Academy over his summer breaks for several years and we are so excited to watch his aviation journey flourish! What an amazing accomplishment as you enter your senior year of high school. Please take a minute to congratulate his achievement.

Congratulations to Soham who is a 2026 high school graduate.

You may recognize Soham, who has been a weekend dispatcher for our flight school for over the last year.

Soham has been a leader for a youth aviation group, mentoring kids with interest in aviation. He has been actively promoting the youth general aviation community for quite some time.

We are excited to share that he will be attending the University of Oklahoma College with the intended major of B.S. in aviation.

His aviation goal is to become to become an airline pilot for a U.S. part 121 carrier.

Congratulations to our student Christian!

Christian is a class of 2026 graduate from Conwell Eagan High Scool. Christian is headed to the Florida Institute of Technology, majoring in aeronautical science. Christians goal is to become a commercial pilot and his plan is to fly as a firefighter pilot.

Christian has studied hard and has exuded dedication towards his aviation education during his senior year, with hopes to achieve his goal.

We look forward to watching him achieve his goals. Wishing him all the best and a future full of blue skies and tailwinds ✈️ ☁️

Today, we would like to congratulate Noah.

Noah is a 2026 graduate who will be heading to Jacksonville University to complete his ratings, become an instructor then achieve his goal of becoming a Captain for Delta Air Lines.

Noah dedicated his free time during his senior year, studying and navigating his aviation goal of becoming a Private Pilot, with great success. It has been nothing short of a pleasure having him fly with us and we look forward to watching him grow along his aviation journey!

As our high school graduates and student pilots get ready to embark on their college journeys, we will be highlighting them individually over the next week.

Today, we would like to congratulate Matthew.

Matthew is a 2026 graduate of Conwell Eagan High School who will be heading to Embry Riddle and hopes to one day become a Captain for Delta Air Lines.

Matthew has been an exemplary student. Studying and flying on top of all his senior year studies. It has been such a pleasure having him fly with us and wish him a lifetime of blue skies and tailwinds!
