“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith. And this is not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works.”- Ephesians 2:8-9

The banner up front in the Sanctuary was painted by the Sunday School Youth and Teachers on Rally Day and visually proclaims the heart of our faith: By Grace. Through Faith. In Christ. The heart represents God’s gracious love, reminding us that our salvation is a gift we have not earned and do not deserve. The cross, formed from iron nails, points to Christ’s sacrifice for us, through which we receive salvation by faith. Finally, the fish represents our Savior, Jesus Christ, and reminds us of His call to follow Him and share the Gospel as fishers of men. Together, these symbols proclaim the truth of our yearly theme: we are saved by God’s grace, received through faith, and found in Christ. The banner reminds us that our salvation does not depend on what we do, but on what Christ has already done for us: By Grace Alone.

"Lutheran women, one and all, we have heard the Gospel call. We by faith have seen our Lord crucified and then restored. We have seen Him pay the price, for our sins a sacrifice. Him we Lord and Christ acclaim and unite to praise His name." Some of the Women of Peace attended the LWML Fall Rally at Grace Lutheran with Vicki Place speaking about Phil's Friends organization.
