Don’t mind us. We’re just trying to jump farther than a bullfrog and catch a few amphibians while we explore the swamp 🐸

To imitate water droplets sticking together to form a cloud, we added a three-legged race to our water cycle obstacle course. A three-legged race quickly evolved into 4+ legged races and the challenges, and fun, took off from there!

Our week was spent building, crafting, practicing our flamingo stances, and so much more 😍

Magic garden potion recipe:
1. dandelions
2. purple dead nettle
3. water
That’s it! (Optional stirring to enjoy the cool concoction you’ve started brewing)

In 8 weeks we’ll have a stinky, but powerful, little magic potion to give some of our garden plants a boost!

A project always feels extra special when everything needed can be found right on hand and heavily supplied by nature 🌱

I thought I’d leave the audio on in these video clips so you could enjoy all the adorable commentary and squishy cement sounds! 😂

We’re so proud of all the work our students put into building a stone garden bed this week!

All the hauling, the mixing, and the stacking, was completely kid executed and turned out beautifully! In no time they will be enjoying their gorgeous plants raised up in a garden built with their own hands. ☀️

We are constructing a log cabin! And by we I mean a group of under 10 year olds are building their OWN log cabin with their own hands.

Meanwhile us teachers have embraced our role on the sidelines and are offering a little guidance and a lot of responsibility.

Although this projects is far from over it’s been a great reminder that confidence from accomplishment is invaluable.

Not huge accomplishments like winning Olympic gold, but small accomplishments. The daily, soul building, quiet, accomplishment; cementing a foundation of who we are.
