Three tables of native plants..... gone! Thanks to everyone for coming to another successful plant sale of beautiful garden plants, houseplants, edibles, and and native plants. This sale supports many projects by your Roanoke Master Gardeners in the community.

Come on down to the Master Gardener plant sale 9:00 to noon today.

We're excited for our upcoming plant sale on May 16, 9 - 1 at the Brambleton Center. We'll have lots of garden plants, and here's a partial list of the native plants we'll be selling:

Sudden swarms of flying insects emerging from the ground or gathering near your foundation can be surprising this time of year. Many are seasonal and short-lived.

Before using insecticides, let us help with identification. Correct ID is the first step in deciding whether any control is even needed.
