Different types of police:
The good Sargent’s reaction - (Damn, this happens on live tv, embarrassing).

Our tight haircut officer: (Time to clock in and get to hunting).

Which one shows up to help on your worst, scariest day is luck of the draw. Train accordingly. 🏴‍☠️

That I get to train with folks who studied under Col. personally. ❤️
Living legends. The stories and history they tell. They are a small niche group, too little is spoken about the guys who carry the torch forward, and the incredible things they are still doing.
Whatever I did, that I get to live some of it. ❤️🏴‍☠️

…and it’s still taught at Gunsite Academy

It is always dark somewhere.

Low light and no light environments are unforgiving. If you've invested in night vision, thermals, IR lasers, or white light capability, this is your opportunity to put that equipment to work and see what it can really do.

Join us on June 27th for JDC's first-ever Night Carbine course. This challenging and rewarding evening will run from approximately 6:00 PM until Midnight and will be taught by experienced low-light instructors.

We'll begin before sunset by confirming equipment setup, zeroes, and the ability to successfully engage targets out to 300 yards. Once darkness falls, students will work on engaging steel targets from 50 to 300 yards while learning the strengths and limitations of their equipment.

Topics include:• Night Vision• Thermal Optics• IR Lasers• White Light Employment• Equipment Setup and Validation• Target Engagement from 50-300 Yards

Instructor-owned systems will also be available for trial and evaluation.

Equipment Requirements:• Thermal and/or Night Vision capable rifle or carbine with quality weapon light (30 caliber maximum)• Minimum 3 magazines• Minimum 250 rounds of ball ammunition• No steel core or bi-metal ammunition• Extra batteries for optics, lights, and accessories• Eye and ear protection• Note-taking material• Water and snacks

Whether you're running your first night vision setup or refining a proven system, this class offers a unique opportunity to test your gear, improve your capabilities, and gain confidence in the dark.
