Green Valley Elementary School was highlighted tonight at the Roanoke County School Board Meeting. As Mrs. Anderson said, we are a hidden gem! We love our school and we have such a wonderful community!

Please sign up for our end-of-year Title I event, Pedals, Pushes, and Pages (Bikes for Books), on Tuesday, May 26 from 5:00–6:30 PM at the Green Valley front parking lot and track. (Rain date: May 27.)
What’s planned:
Bring bikes, non-electric scooters, or come on foot.
The Sheriff's Department will loan a few bikes, give away helmets, and run safety demonstrations.
American Heart will lead activities to get your heart pumping and offer a CPR practice station.
Technology will bring robots.
Face painting and more family fun!

“We don’t always like Chicken Salad Chick, but when we do… We like it, We love it, and We want some more of it!” We treated the staff and teachers with Chicken Salad Chick! We have had such a fun 90s throwback week.

“Let me see that tootsie roll.” Today, we provided the staff and teachers with a 90s throw back candy bar and cupcakes! We so appreciate our teachers and staff!
