Meet Makayla Petty, our summer intern from Bridgewater College. She's been assisting with farm and VCAP site visits, follow-up reports, and educational programming. Makayla was also the recipient of our district scholarship in 2024.

Congratulations to Georgia Miller of James River High School, Buchanan, the 2026 recipient of the $2,000 Harold Entsminger Honorary Scholarship. Georgia is pursuing a degree in Outdoor Recreation from Montreat College.

Last call to show support for VCAP!

As the General Assembly begins to wrap up, we need your help with one final push to legislators in support of VCAP. VCAP made it into both chambers’ budgets, but at varying amounts. Conference members are meeting now to reconcile those differences.
