Here’s what parents can do:
💬 Talk to your kids about what they’re seeing online
👀 Watch for posts mentioning schools, students, or threats
📸 Screenshot and save concerning content
🚫 Do NOT share or repost it
📢 Report it and notify your child’s school and local law enforcement

Even if it seems like a joke, say something. Your report could help prevent harm and protect children.

⚖️ Know the law: Alabama’s HB 7 strengthened penalties for certain terrorist threats, including threats made online.

Today, RRCTC conducted a scheduled lockdown drill to ensure our students and staff are prepared to respond appropriately in the event of an intruder or other emergency situation.
We are grateful for the partnerships and support of:

School Safety Coordinator Alan Robertson
These drills provide an opportunity for our students and staff to practice established safety procedures while allowing school and emergency personnel to evaluate our response and identify areas for improvement.
At RRCTC, student safety is always our #1 priority. We appreciate our local first responders and school safety personnel working alongside us to help ensure that our students are safe and prepared.
