We're getting ready for next week's Book Fair! Fresh off the presses, our RUC Library Bucks are almost ready to spent. You'll get your money when you sign in and you can decide how to spend it here in the RUC Library next Tuesday or Wednesday, June 16 or 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day.

We went on a reading tear last week and we're jumping all the way to 64 of our 300 books read, which is more than a fifth of our goal met! If you want to help us, and unlock some special tiny animal visitors this fall, you can reply to this post with the title and author of any book you've read. Remember, all formats count: audiobooks, ebooks, and even good old paper.

There are exciting changes underway to Room 501, right next to the RUC Library, and our anatomy tutor, Bonita Spinestein, just had to check them out today.

Expanding beyond a tutoring and study space, 501 now also features some cozy beanbag chairs for lounging, a truly amazing massage chair, optional low lighting with lamps and a ton of natural light, and relaxation tools like a sand tray.

We're loving the adjustments and thrilled to be collaborating with our campus partners Radford University Carilion Campus Life and Radford University - Highlander Success Center on creating this space to relax, recharge, and refill your mind.

Two weeks from today we're bringing back that school book fair thrill. On either Tuesday, June 16, or Wednesday, June 17, come by the RUC Library between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and shop the RUC Library Book Fair. You'll get your RUC Library bucks when you sign in. All you have to do is decide how to spend them.

We've read 40 books so far this Summer, which means we're just over 13%* of the way done with our 300-book challenge. You can help by replying with the title and author any book you've read in any format this summer to this post.

*We're guessing 13% is not an Easter egg for whatever's going on with Taylor Swift right now, but who can really say? Pay no attention to the cloud in the background of this photo.
