We officially reached 52 students at Roanoke Music School!! 🎉🎶

What started with teaching piano out of my home has grown into a studio with 5 teachers, 3 teaching rooms, 2 instruments, and 52 students making music each week.

We’re so grateful for every family who has trusted us, every teacher who pours into our students, and every student who brings so much life to the studio.

We’re also especially thankful to Dwelling Place for so generously providing the space that has allowed our studio to grow. Their support has meant so much to us and has been such an important part of this season.

Watching this little music community grow while still keeping lessons personal, encouraging, and fun means more than we can say. 🤍

Here’s to 52 students — and all the music still ahead. 🎹🎸

What a wonderful Summer Recital! 🎹☀️🎶

We are so proud of each of our students who performed this weekend! Getting up in front of an audience takes courage, preparation, and a whole lot of practice — and they did an incredible job.

One of our favorite parts of teaching music is watching students grow in confidence and then getting to celebrate all of their hard work with their families, teachers, and fellow students. From some of our youngest musicians to our adult students, it was such a joy to hear everyone perform. 💙

A huge thank you to our RMS families for encouraging your musicians, to our teachers for pouring into their students week after week, and to everyone who helped make this recital possible.

For the past couple of lessons, Raphael has been working on crossing the left hand and the right hand over each other to ascend and descend the piano. Today, he was able to accomplish this while maintaining a steady pace! His hard work has really been paying off!
