Sowers playground was refreshed over the summer and ready for kiddos. Thanks to Lawnscapes, Hoerr's Blacktop and Sealcoating, and A-Line Stripe and Seal for their outstanding work.

Online registration for the new school year opens on Wednesday, July 15th and will close at the end of the day on July 31st.

Roanoke-Benson uses Alma as our student management program. Registration should be a fast and easy process for you. All parents (excluding Kindergarten) will need to log on to Alma to complete the registration process. If you need to add a student, you can do that through your Alma account. If you have students at multiple buildings, you can start at any one of the school sites. The school sites are:

rbhs.getalma.com
rbjh.getalma.com
sowers.getalma.com

If you experience any issues with logging in to your Alma account, the two major issues are probably that you are either at the wrong school site or you have forgotten your password. If you are having password issues, our only option is to send a password reset to the email address we have on file.

RB Families: Please be looking for an email with further instructions on the registration process.

Sowers Elementary was invited to apply for the distinguished Illinois Blue Ribbon School Recognition. With over 4,000 schools in the state, 50 exemplary schools were invited to apply. Only 16 are chosen. Recipients will be announced in the fall. Regardless of the outcome, just being invited is an incredible honor.
