SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Danni Tice
Danni graduated from Lord Botetourt on Monday, and she has worked at OHDS for 2 years.
In the fall, she will be attending Radford Carilion to study nursing.
Her favorite thing about OHDS is "watching the sweet kiddos grow up. I love spending time with them and creating positive relationships with each child."
Her favorite Bible verse: Joshua 1:9 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
We love you Danni and are so proud of all of your accomplishments!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Kennedy Fender
Kennedy graduated from LB on Monday night where she participated in school volleyball, travel volleyball, travel softball, and was a member of National Honor Society.
She has worked at OHDS for about 2 years, mostly in our afterschool and pre-k classes.
This fall, she plans to attend Virginia Tech to major in Elementary Education.
Her favorite thing about working at Orchard Hills "is the relationships with the kids and watching them grow each and every day."
Her favorite Bible verse is Psalms 121:8: “The Lord will watch over your life no matter where you go, both now and forever.”
Fun fact about Kennedy: She has her own photography business.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Keira Crawford
Keira will be graduating tonight from James River High School! During high school, she played softball and basketball and participated in the following clubs: FCA, Varsity club, PEP, Spanish club, Help Save the Next Girl, Outdoor club.
She has worked at OHDS for the past 3 summers in our summer camp for grades K-5, where she has waded in creeks and stood in the sun on 100 degree days, all with a big smile!
Next year, she plans to continue her nursing studies at Mountain Gateway Community College.
Her favorite things about working at OHDS is "seeing all the smiling faces on the kids and being able to make people's day."

A fun fact about Keira: She enjoys watching Bluey!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Raegan Bolling
Raegan will be graduating from Lord Botetourt tonight, where she participated in National Honor society, Botetourt Buddies Club (hanging with kids who have special abilities), Unified Track, Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club, Spanish Club, Sideline and Competition Cheerleading (winning 2nd in the state 4 years consecutively).
She is currently the morning assistant teacher in the 2s room. She has great classroom management skills and is a natural leader!
She will be attending Virginia Tech in the fall with plans to major in Psychology and will be cheering as a hokie cheerleader!
Her favorite thing about working at Orchard Hills is "getting to be a part of my students everyday lives, watching them become incredibly smart and kind people, and creating deep and meaningful connections with not only the students but the staff, too!"
Her favorite Bible verse: Corinthians 16:14: “Let all that you do be done in love.”
A fun fact about Raegan: “Let it go” from frozen was her most listened to song in 2025 thanks to the twos class!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Hayli Huffman
Hayli is a senior at Lord Botetourt. She has worked at OHDS for 2 years in our toddler and 2s classrooms. She is responsible, sweet, and VERY patient!
Her favorite thing about working at OHDS is "creating relationships with all of the children and watching their personalities grow as they grow up!"
In the fall, she will be taking classes at Virginia Western for nursing!
Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Fun fact about Hayli: Her favorite hobby outside of work and school is fishing!

It's that time of year again!!! We could not do what we do without our high school students! Their enthusiasm and energy are what get us through our afternoons (and mornings for those who are with us for work-based learning). It's graduation week for some of them, and we are so proud!!
OUR FIRST SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: Rhiannon Stowe
She currently teaches in the afternoon in our 3s room. She has been working here for about a year and is dedicated, responsible, and kind!
She will be graduating from LB on Monday! During high school, she was a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, and Spanish Club, as well as a sideline cheerleader. She was also a member of the ensemble teams at Floyd Ward School of Dance.
In the fall, she plans to attend Virginia Tech where she will major in neuroscience. Go Hokies!
Her favorite thing about working at OHDS is building relationships with the kids and being part of such a positive and supportive environment.
Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 4:23: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Fun fact about Rhiannon: She has been dancing for 13 years.
