⛰️🥾💪😍
We’ll go to a cliff hanging off the Catawba Mountain along the Appalachian Trail to be with members of the VAIS family! Enjoyed hiking to McAfee K**b with Josh Chapman and Meg Snow of Community High School of Arts & Academics today. Remember: you don’t have to leave our beautiful Commonwealth for fresh air and views like this! Explore Virginia is for Lovers right in your backyard this summer! 🥾

The US History: Breaking the Law! Breaking the Law! students ran a mock court of the famous Rosenberg conspiracy trial. Students investigated the case and asked "what if" questions about the strategies of the prosecution and defense. The defense's goal was to successfully argue that Ethel Rosenberg was not involved in any espionage, and therefore she did not deserve the death penalty. The prosecution's narrative was that Morton Sobell should be punished to the fullest extent of the law and not given a lighter sentence just because the secrets he leaked were not related to the nuclear bomb.

The Daisy Art Parade was a wonderful time. We'd like give a big shout out to our own Brian Counihan and all of the work he puts in to making this fabulous day happen every year. We also loved seeing many members of our CHS community out and about participating in a variety of ways. 🐤
