DAYTEC was happy to provide space for William Fleming HS College Advisings visit with UNC Greensboro (UNCG)! We love seeing our students have opportunities to learn about the many different paths available to them after high school.

A special shoutout to Ms. India Anderson, who works hard to regularly coordinate college visits from a variety of schools and programs. Mr. Johnson brings skill, passion, and dedication to his classroom every day, helping students turn hands-on learning into real-world skills and future opportunities. Through carpentry, he teaches much more than how to build. He helps students build confidence, independence, craftsmanship, and a foundation for their futures.

Teachers for Tomorrow students visited Small Steps Learning Academy for their first time recently. They were eager to tour the facilities, engage their students and co-teachers, and get to know more about Ms. Taren McCoy and Ms. Tina Ramsey.

On the tour students took pictures with the "First Day of Preschool" signs and showcased their professional teaching attire.

Both Ms. Harrington and her students were pleased with their first externship experience and are excited to continue to go on more. Keep up the good work!

Back-to-School Success!

Our Master Barbering students provided haircuts for more than 100 children to help them look sharp and feel confident for the new school year! I’m extremely proud of their hard work, professionalism, teamwork, and dedication to serving our community.
