Happy Monday Morning🌄! As I begin to get ready for the last day in this chapter of my life, I reflect back to the past 23 years. Children's Castle was incorporated in July of 2003, by my Father CB, my Grandmother Dee Dee, and myself. With my family celebrating it's 23rd year of incorporation, I begin to realize that number '23' is especially ironic and significant to me. I was 23 years old the day I opened the doors to our building and welcomed the first few children and families to our brand new center. The Castle has been home to my family all these years, allowing my dad to retire from US Airways, allowing my step mother, Cindy, to leave the hustle of the legal world and enjoy working part time, allowing my grandmother to fill her days and heart with the light and joy from the children she served lunch to everyday, and allowing me to support my family, and accomplish my goal of being able to raise and be with my children everyday, while still focusing on and building an impacting career. Now, 23 years later, the day has fittingly arrived in which I confidently entrust the center's leadership to my admin team, those that have committed much of their lives to growing this center beside me, and I proudly hand over the the keys to Children's Castle Early Learning Center, Inc. to Early Bird Education Group, a company that is ranked as the highest in early education nationwide. 🏰👑✨️
I am deeply grateful for every life that has touched these doors, filled these hallways, and given spirit to what began as a simple dream. As I transition into this new chapter of my life, I do so with a full heart, confident in the Castle’s bright future, continued growth, and enduring success. It has been a profound privilege to serve this community for these 23 years. It is by far the biggest complement to have a Company of this magnitude and status aquire Children's Castle Early Learning Center. I couldn't be more blessed to see this legacy continue operation as The Castle we all have known, with even more growth ahead, retaining and offering advancement to all of our staff that have committed their time, love, and days into building it's legacy. I am truly gracious to reach the milestone of retirement in what will forever be '23 years' to me!
