Please read the following reminders from Mr. Hudgins and Ms. Lewis before Field Day tomorrow:
1. **Make sure all students have tennis shoes when they get to school. They must have tennis shoes to participate in events. Please remind them of this prior to field day. They might also want to wear older tennis shoes as they may get wet or muddy.
2. **Make sure students have a change of clothes with them. They MUST have an extra shirt, pants/shorts, underclothes, socks, and shoes. If they don’t, they WILL NOT be allowed to participate in ANY water stations. They will also need to bring a towel to dry off with. They can leave their clothes in the room but will need to bring their towels with them. Tell students they can bring a water bottle with them. It will not be provided this year. They can refill them in the gym when they are at that station if need be.
3. **Remind students to put on sunscreen before coming to school! They can also bring it with them and reapply.

Last week Ms. Gray's 1st grade class earned a pajama and stuffy day. This was their reward for filling their class smiley jar! We are proud of these well behaved Rockets for working towards their goals 🧸🩵

Yesterday, Mrs. Morford's kindergartners made new additions to the school garden, as well as watered the existing plants. Thanks Mrs. Shanks for getting the garden started for us! We are RHES, we are the Rockets!
