🎨🌈 Fun Friday Children’s Lounge SML

Today was full of colorful smiles, laughter, and LOTS of messy fun! Our little artists had an amazing time making memories, getting creative, and enjoying every colorful moment together. ❤️

🐜🧺 Picnic & Ant Week is off to a great start at Children's Lounge Summer Program! (SML)

We kicked off our day with a fun team-building activity where students worked together just like ants! Everyone lined up, placed their hands on the shoulders of the person in front of them, and marched as one connected "ant trail," learning the importance of teamwork and cooperation.

Next, our little scientists opened an "Ant Restaurant!" We placed different types of food crumbs on plates near an anthill and came back later to observe which foods the ants preferred. The students loved making predictions and watching nature in action!

After enjoying a picnic-themed lunch together, we wrapped up the day by learning all about what happens beneath the ground. Students discovered how ants build anthills and create underground tunnels to travel, protect their colony, and store food. To reinforce what they learned, they painted ant hill and underground tunnel pictures. 🎨🖌🐜

Learning is always more exciting when it's hands-on! 🐜🌞❤️
