Last week the Girls on the Run organization hosted an inaugural awards dinner. Hurt Park's 21st Century Girls on the Run team was nominated for the House Special Award for accomplishments and camaraderie. Ms. Forman was nominated for, and won, the Full Plate Award for her coaching, time given to the program, and serving as an excellent role model for our girls. Way to go GOTR!

Field day was a big success on Monday! From cheering on and encouraging their classmates to racing towards the finish line... everyone had a great time!

Thank you to United Healthcare volunteers for coming to help and support our students for field day. We appreciate you!

Today we started a new tradition! We held a Senior Walk for former Hurt Park students getting ready to graduate from Patrick Henry! It was a joy getting to see them walk the halls of their former elementary school again! Congratulations to each of you!
