✨ Another unforgettable week at Mars Hill University! 💙

Our student council members, alumni, and advisors had an incredible time at our annual Summer Leadership Conference. Throughout the week, we built meaningful relationships, made lifelong memories, and grew as leaders through learning, service, and collaboration.

The lessons, friendships, and experiences from this week will continue to inspire and shape the way we lead in our schools and communities. We can't wait to see the impact this group will make in the year ahead!

A mug is just a small gift, but the gratitude behind it is huge ☕️💛 Our Student Council seniors picked special teachers and staff who helped us grow as leaders and people. Thank you for believing in us and making a lasting impact on our journey.

As we wrap up our final Student Council meeting of the school year, we are incredibly proud of all the hard work, leadership, and dedication shown by each of our members this year. Every event, project, and memory made this year special because of these students, and we cannot wait to see all they accomplish next school year!

While we are excited for what’s ahead, we are also sad to say goodbye to our seniors. Your leadership, commitment, and impact on our school will not be forgotten. We are so proud of everything you have accomplished and cannot wait to see what the future holds for each of you as graduation approaches next week.

This week’s Student Council Spotlight recognizes the students who came to help decorate senior caps that will be displayed to honor our graduating seniors as they finish their final days of high school and anxiously await graduation. Thank you for helping make this special tradition possible! 🎓✨

✨Student Council Spotlight✨

This week we are recognizing the members who helped prepare food and serve at Tuesday night’s Teacher Appreciation Dinner! From cooking and setup to serving and cleanup, these students worked hard to make the evening special for our teachers and their families. Everything was absolutely delicious, and it was wonderful seeing everyone enjoy the night together.

We are so thankful for the opportunity to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and impact our teachers make every single day. Thank you to our amazing student leaders for helping make the evening such a success! 💙

⭐ Student Council Spotlight ⭐

This week we are recognizing these outstanding student leaders for taking the time to travel with us to the middle school to meet with their new student council! They shared ideas, offered encouragement, and helped support the next generation of leaders.

Thank you for representing our school so well and for showing what leadership, kindness, and service are all about. We are proud of the example you set for others! 💙✨

For this week’s “This Week in Athletics,” we wanted to make a different post highlighting EVERYONE’S achievements because no matter the sport, we are all one team and one Yellow Jacket family 💛🐝

⛳️ Golf — Congrats to two members of our men’s golf team who will compete Monday and Tuesday at Longleaf Golf Club for the NCHSAA 4A State Championship Tournament! Joshua Craddock shot a 78 to win the NCHSAA 4A East Regional, and Holden Ford shot an 82, placing 5th overall. Good luck, boys!

🥎 Softball — Congrats to our softball team for advancing to the third round of the NCHSAA Playoffs! The girls defeated Anson 2-0 on Friday and will face Southwest Randolph on Tuesday.

⚾️ Baseball — Congrats to our baseball team for advancing to the third round of the NCHSAA Playoffs! The boys defeated North Duplin 3-2 in extra innings on Friday and will play Uwharrie Charter Academy on Tuesday.

⚽️ Soccer — Congrats to our girls soccer team who will host the first round of the NCHSAA Playoffs today! The girls earned the 13th seed and will take on 20th-seeded Red Springs at 6 PM.

🏃 Track & Field — Congrats to all members of the track team who placed at regionals! On Wednesday, five boys will head to states to represent RRHS. Bobby Hawkins will compete in High Jump and the 200 after placing first in both at regionals. Cody Brigman qualified in Triple Jump after placing 5th. Que Caudle, Bobby Hawkins, Noah Stallings, and Travis Carter will compete in the 4x400 relay.
